--Today we went over last night's homework and all of the problems we haven't gone over yet. We worked in class with teacher and peer help on the Practice Test. I will post the key to this tonight.
Homework: Finish the practice test and STUDY FOR TOMORROW'S TEST! Dont forget--Friction and 3rd law labs DUE FRIDAY--THATS TOMORROW!! Today we went over the part of yesterday's homework most people did, and I did an example of the problems again. We took notes on inclined planes and how the concepts we've been learning apply to them. Classwork and Homework: Finish all of the Forces HW Packet #1. Complete the first page of Forces HW packet #2 front and back. Today we took about 30 minutes to finish up the Newton's Third Law Lab. We took notes on angled or uncooperative forces and how to resolve them into cooperative forces--TRIANGLES! We went to Bit.ly/AngledF and practiced this with immediate feedback. Classwork and Homework: Forces in 2D packet #1, pages 1-4, 7&8. (omit only the back long side.) ***LABS ARE DUE FRIDAY, FRIDAY IS ALSO THE LAST DAY FOR RETESTS ON UNITS 1 & 2 Today we worked to complete the Static and Kinetic Friction Lab and Newton's Third Law lab using the Vernier force sensors. Rubrics for these labs will be posted in canvas. They should be entered in your notebook as usual.
Today we went over yesterday's homework on Newton's third Law. We went out in the hall and used the hover discs and skateboards to investigate action reaction forces.
We went over the pretest question by question in preparation for tomorrow's test. Today we went over yesterday's homework, but many students didn't do the problems. We did some examples to clear up confusion.
We took notes on types of friction, coefficient of friction, and calculating friction . Classwork and Homework: Finish the weekend HW--(Pages 1-4, 11-14, 16) then do Pages 19,20,25,26 |
