Homework: Complete the first worksheet in your HW packet concerning naming acids. Today we went over homework and played a maze in the hall about mixed naming. We also played online review games, then went over the answers we missed to review.
Homework: Complete mixed naming worksheets. Today we went over Ionic naming, then took notes on covalent compounds and how they are named.
Homework: Naming Covalent Binary Compounds Worksheet and MIxed Naming Practice. We went over examples from the weekend's homework and worked individually to finish these.

We took notes on how to write formulas using Type II metals and how to name compounds of type II metals, both binary and those that include polyatomic ions. Homework: Type II Binary Compounds Worksheet; Type II with polyatomics worksheet. Today we reviewed yesterday's work, and went over the answers to the homework. I answered any questions and did extra examples.
