Today we worked in class on the remainder of the work and the Gizmo. I answered a few questions (interest was low due to the impending holiday!) . We will go over the practice test on Monday, and Test Tuesday.
Today we went over problems we had trouble with on the homework. We took notes on Gravitational Motion, another form of circular motion. We continued to work on problems, and I assigned a Gizmo to explore circular motion. I also handed out the practice test.
Today we went over the Kinetic Energy and Work Energy Theorem worksheet. We worked to finish the spring constant virtual lab, and we worked on the practice test.
Homework: Finish all work--Study for the W,P, and E test tomorrow. We worked to finish the skate park lab. We learned about spring constants and PEspring, and did an online lab to determine the spring constant of a given system. We will finish all of this work and the practice test on Tuesday. The Work, Power and Energy Test will be Wednesday.
Today we went over the problems for yesterday's homework. We took notes on the Work--Energy Theorem. We continued with problems on KE, PE and conservation. Please work on the Work Energy Theorem problems. We will go over problems tomorrow as well as finish up the skatepark lab.
Today we completed the arm curl lab, making sure all students had participated.
We took notes on: Energy Potential Energy Kinetic Energy Conservation of Energy Classwork and Homework: Energy Packet page 1 and 4. Today we went over the first six pages of your work packet and went over how to work out the problems. We did a lab measuring how many arm curls each student could do in 30 sec. We used our Data to calculate the work done and the power generated. We will talk about the lab tomorrow. Homework: Finish Lab Calculations Today we Started the new Unit on Work, Power, and Energy. We took notes on:
